THE ARCHIVES

About Knth Media Haus - Behind the Archives

Founded by Indigenous two-spirit artist Kenneth Westley of the Oglala Lakota Tribe, Knth Media Haus is an independent media house dedicated to creating, curating, and archiving creative work. Through The Archives, it brings together music, visual art, writing, design, and other creative disciplines in a space where work is preserved beyond the pace of the algorithm.

The Archives began as a home for Kenneth's own multidisciplinary practice but reflects a broader vision: to build an enduring collection of creative work where artists can be discovered, ideas can be documented, and meaningful projects can find a lasting place. Every recording, painting, sketch, photograph, design, and written work contributes to a growing archive shaped by curiosity, craftsmanship, and creative exploration.

Kenneth's artistic practice began in childhood through abstract art and expanded with classical cello at the age of nine. Over time, it grew to encompass music production, songwriting, visual design, creative direction, and writing through both formal education and years of independent practice. His debut album, Wonder Years, was entirely written, recorded, and produced by him, with every visual element designed as an extension of the project's artistic vision.

Kenneth is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music at Fort Lewis College with a concentration in classical cello, alongside a minor in Communication and Design (Graphic Design) and a Certificate in Marketing. Following his undergraduate studies, he plans to continue into a Master of Arts in Music Production.

Today, Knth Media Haus continues to evolve as both a creative practice and a long-term vision—one dedicated to preserving creative work, celebrating multidisciplinary artists, and building an archive where music, visual art, writing, and storytelling are meant to endure.
